David's Birthday Hike and Party (Roast)

After our New Years Day party Amir had the idea to have a birthday hike and party for me. I was to lead the hike and then we would have a party at the Bramells'. The last time we had such a party was many years ago on a Rikudom ski trip. On the 27th of January we had a very nice hike, the weather was sunny and warm, there was just a bit of a cold wind at first. It was a good choice of days, the day before it rained and the next day it snowed!

The hike was very nice, we went from the Mountain Home Inn parking lot down toward Alice Eastwood then took Troop 80 to Van Wyck Meadow where we had lunch. Then up to Boot Jack and back to the parking lot via Matt Davis.

Back at the Bramells' we had a great pot luck and then I was roasted. Well, it was really an unwarranted show of appreciation. But I did enjoy it.
